TANGENT bench
Elegant and innovative bench for urban spaces. The design makes the wood appear like keys on a piano, which gives the bench an unique expression.
Tangent is made from reclaimed azobé wood from decommisioned Danish harbours.
The wood is heartwood from one of the hardest types of wood in the world, and thus incredibly durable. Therefor, Elara does not require any kind of wood treatment and has an expected lifespan of 30+ years.
The bench is made with a sanded surface. With outdoor exposure to sunlight, the wood’s surface will change over time and become a silver grey colour. See examples of this here.
