TETRA bench
The Tetra bench is a special design that originates from a project at Ground Odense fitness center and has since become an integrated part of our collection. The bench plays with symmetry, and displays an inherent contrast in its design between a light and heavy expression.
The bench is made from upcycled hardwood from disused ports, bridge decks, and railways – hardwood that has supported heavy structures and withstood wind, weather, and load for decades.
Due to the wood’s strength and natural density, the bench is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. When placed outdoors and exposed to sunlight, the wood’s surface will change over time and become a silver grey colour. See examples of this here.
